It is with great joy and pride that we announce that on May 13, our president and co-founder Philippe Dallaire will fly to Fukuoka, in Japan with the Canadian delegation for the G20 YEA who is led by Futurpreneur Canada. The event, which will take place from May 14-17, will bring together more than 500 of the best young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial leaders from the G20 countries. This is a unique opportunity to develop knowledge and learn from each other’s experience while developing a network of contacts and influencing G20 policies.
The G20 YEA is a collective of organizations from the G20 countries that aims to promote and ensure the advancement of youth entrepreneurship and represents more than 500 000 young entrepreneurs. At the G20 YEA, young entrepreneurs will share ideas and debate on several issues such as:
- Ways to maintain economic growth through the entrepreneurial spirit;
- The need for mature economies to revitalize growth and institutions;
- The need for innovations to solve social and environmental problems;
- Global warming.
At the end of the event, a communiqué mentioning the different objectives to be achieved will be signed by all the delegates. This release is a unique opportunity to influence the policies of the G20.
